The de-Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter is a 19 seat STOL (short takeoff & landing) aircraft. They can be highly adaptable as bush planes whether they are fitted with skis, floats or normal landing gears.
Their versatility and maneuverability have made the Twin Otter popular in areas with difficult flying environments, such as the Arctic region. It has also seen much use as a regular commuter passenger airliner as well as cargo and medevac aircraft in most parts of the world.
Along with passing 2 simulator proficiency checks every year, our pilots also receive extensive training in STOL operations on regular basis, helping us to maintain efficient and safe STOL operation.
Whether its aerial survey, flying domestic routes within Iceland, carrying large volume of cargo or landing on skis on the Greenlandic icecap; the Twin Otter is the solution!
