Air Ambulance

We can arrange air ambulance flights with a short notice, any time of the day. Our pilots are highly experienced and are accompanied by a dedicated team of medical professionals.

We can offer two different types of aircraft for air ambulance:

Beech 200 Kingair:

  • Fully equipped lifesupport system available for one patient on a stretcher.
  • Room for three to four additional passengers/medical personnel accompanying the patient.
  • An incubator for infants is also available upon request.
  • Pressurized cabin.
  • Short runway capability.
  • Fast cruise speeds.
  • Can easily reach destinations in Greenland and Northern Europe from Iceland.

DHC-6 Twin Otter:

  • Can be equipped with larger tires or skis, making it suitable for medical evacuation from remote areas, such as primitive landing strips or on the Greenland icecap.
  • Can be used in conjunction with the Beech 200, such as when transporting a patient from the Greenlandic wilderness to a hospital in Scandinavia.
